We are seeking an additional Chef with several years experience, with the confidence and capability to work within our successful team. A variety of hours are available covering Breakfast, Lunch and Evening Service. We are proud holders of an Enjoy England 4*, Silver Rated Inn rating with Breakfast Award for exceptional quality and service.
Duties will include food service delivery to high standards and food preparation whilst working alongside the team to meet profitability margins and health and hygiene. We hold a 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating.
The ideal candidate will be hard working, motivated and enthusiastic about working with fresh, local produce to produce top quality homemade pub food and enjoy creating daily specials, particularly using fresh fish as a speciality during the summer months. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and Food Hygiene Certificate, preferably 1 and 2 is required.
Our current kitchen team consists of a Head Chef and two further chefs as well as an Apprentice Trainee Chef and kitchen porters.
During the summer months the Inn is open all day, with food served all day so the kitchen can become very busy. We offer restaurant and bar dining areas for 70 covers and additional outside seating accommodating a further 32 covers. Due to the seasonal nature of the business some flexibility will be required over hours.
Salaries and rates of pay will be negotiable depending on experience.
