With news concerning the Coronavirus dominating the headlines, we are keeping up to speed with the situation as it unfolds and taking relevant advice and necessary precautions to deal with as best we can. We are taking extra precautions and guidance from relevant health organisations to minimise the risk and maintain a safe environment for all.
As a public house we are of course welcoming the public every day to eat, drink and stay with us and we have a duty of care to the public and to our team of staff to keep our premises as clean and safe as possible.
We would like to reassure our valued customers that our teams and suppliers are operating a best practice in health, hygiene and cleanliness. Accordingly, we would ask that you work with us to help us keep our team and other customers safe, so as much as we love welcoming everyone, please if you are unwell or are concerned you may have been exposed to COVID-19 then do not come into the Inn until you are well.
Based on current evidence, the main symptoms of COVID-19 are a cough, a high temperature and, in severe cases, shortness of breath. If you feel any of this, then you should call 111.
Good hygiene practice is absolutely essential so please follow the recommendation to wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds … you can sing Happy Birthday if you wish!
You may notice the staff cleaning surfaces around the Inn. Please do not take this personally and instead be reassured we are doing everything we can to minimise the risk.
We really appreciate your support as this continues.
