We are delighted to welcome to The Top House Inn our new Head Chef, Wesley Wheeler to manage our kitchen, oversee our menu and work with our talented team to create wonderful, tasty dishes for our customers to enjoy.
Wesley has over 17 years experience in the industry. After completing his training in Worcester Wesley gained great experience in 2 and 3 Rosette establishments in the Cotswolds, before heading to work alongside the renowned Mark Jordan at the One Michelin Star Atlantic Hotel in Jersey. Following a move to Devon Wesley took on Head Chef roles in popular gastropubs and since returning to Cornwall most recently was Acting Head Chef at The New Yard Restaurant at Trelowarren Estate.
It is very exciting to have a new input of ideas and Wesley certainly shares our passion for producing top dishes, created using fresh, local and seasonal ingredients. As we move forward there will be a few changes to our menu, to complement our current offering. At this time of year fresh local fish, handpicked crab and lobster will be gracing our Specials Board on a regular basis.
