Our bed and breakfast guest rooms are named after local coves and beaches so why not take a walk to discover the beauty of the location your room is named after.
All of the beaches and coves mentioned are within walking distance of The Lizard village. It is possible to walk from Kynance Cove right round to Church Cove and then back up through the village and back down to Kynance. The Map shows the walking route in red and there are numerous tracks (shown in grey) back up from the coastpath to the village, so you don’t have to walk the whole route at once, unless you want to. The views and scenery are just spectacular and there are also lots of points of interest including the most Southerly Point, The Lizard Lighthouse, The Lizard Lifeboat Station and the former Lloyds Signal Station building set up by Marconi in 1901 to work on their ambition to bridge the Atlantic by wireless. The Lizard is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers and you may see the Cornish Choughs on your walk and also seals and basking sharks at Lizard Point.
