We can accept bookings online via our website or directly by telephone 01326 290974. We only accept bookings online made directly by the guest with their full contact details and payment via their own credit/debit card.
Third party bookings will only be accepted if we have an advance agreement in place. We therefore expect that all bookings received are made by the guest and payment details are for the guest staying with us.
If you are a third party wishing to make a reservation then you need to contact ourselves James Glosby or Donna Glosby first by telephone to discuss requirements and proposed payment methods. If we agree to accept the third party booking then the reservation details will be taken over the telephone and confirmation sent. Where a third party makes a reservation on behalf of their clients via our website or any other online travel agent we are not obliged to accept the booking as it does not meet our terms and conditions as outlined and the reservation will be cancelled.
Unfortunately we do not currently have any rooms which are fitted with suitable facilities for disabled guests requiring the use of a wheelchair. Also, there are 3 steps to enter the accommodation building from the external access point and this is the only form of access whilst the main Inn is closed. Therefore wheelchair users can not be accommodated in our accommodation.
We do not allow any pets in our rooms.
A non refundable deposit of the first night is required (for each room booked) when booking which will be deducted from the total balance due upon departure. The deposit relates to the date booked and is not transferrable to another date.
Please send cancellation request in writing.
Cancellation/modification received more than 7 days prior to arrival date
The non-refundable deposit paid, which was equivalent to the cost of the first night, is retained for each room booked.
Cancellation/modification received within 7 days prior to arrival date
Cancellation within 7 days of arrival will result in the total booking amount being payable. As a non-refundable deposit has already been paid, the booking balance remaining is payable at the point of cancellation.
In the event of No-show
The total booking amount is payable. As a non-refundable deposit has already been paid, the booking balance remaining is payable at the point of no-show on date of arrival.
Reduction of stay / Temporary Absence
We cannot give a reduction for temporary absence or early departure.
Length of Stay Modifications – Minimum Stay
In some rooms we have a minimum stay requirement of 2 nights, particularly during peak season and Bank Holidays. If a stay is amended from a 2 night stay to a 1 night stay and no longer meets our minimum stay requirement then we reserve the right to cancel the reservation without reimbursement.
Holiday Cancellation Insurance is highly recommended.
CHECK IN / OUT
Check in is from 15:00pm – 20:30pm on the day of arrival. We do not operate a 24hr reception and therefore cannot accept late check ins where arrival is after the bar is closed.
Check out is from 08:15am until 10:30am. As we do not operate a 24hr reception we are unable to accommodate an earlier check out time unless prior arrangement is made with us in advance of booking.
OUT OF HOURS
We do not operate an out of hours service, however the owners or deputy are on site and contactable in case of an emergency. For non-emergency call outs when the pub is closed we do reserve the right to charge a fee. As a courteousy to all fellow guests please keep noise to a minimum when entering and moving around the building overnight and early in the morning. If you anticipate needing to depart the building before 8.15am then you must discuss this with us before placing your booking.
Breakfast service times are amended slightly depending on the time of year and occupancy levels. Breakfast is generally served between 8.15am and 9.30am and guests are expected to take breakfast in the dining room during these times. We are unable to provide breakfast outside of these times and do not offer a reduction for breakfast not taken.
We accept children aged 3 and over when staying in the family room only. Bunk beds are provided and therefore guests need to be aware that this may not be suitable for younger children. We are unable to accommodate children and infants younger than 3 years of age.
There must be at least one adult over the age of 18 in each room. We do have a family room available for adults staying with children between the ages of 3 and 17 which have a king sized bed and a set of bunk beds.
PRICES & OCCUPANCY
Reservations and prices agreed for Prilla, Housel, Kilcobben, Pentreath, Caerthillian, Polpeor and Kynance are based on a maximum of two people sharing the room, except where booked and paid for as a single occupancy rate. Guests must advise how many people will be staying in the room overnight so our records are correct for health and safety reasons. If there is a reduction for single occupancy, it must be adhered to. In the event of more people wanting to check in than booked for we reserve the right to refuse an additional person which may result in the booking being cancelled or void, but amount payable due. We do not have capacity for extra beds, matresses or travel cots in our rooms and do not therefore provide any.
The reservations and prices agreed for our family room (Polbream) is based on between 2 and 4 people sharing and guests must make the booking and payment for the correct number of people in their party. The maximum occupancy for this room is 2 adults and 2 children between the ages of 3 and 17. Where the family room is booked for 2 adults it is expected that only the king sized bed is used and not the bunk beds, if used then additional linen costs will be applied at £15 per bed used per night.
Please take care of your room keys, which also allow access to the accommodation building.
In the event of a key being lost a fee of £50.00 will be charged and must be paid before departure.
