James and I just enjoyed a lovely late lunch of slow braised oxtail broth with rosemary dumplings and slow cooked shredded pork on sauteed potatoes with savoy cabbage, wholegrain mustard sauce topped with a soft egg. I know we are somewhat biased but super yummy!Perfect autumn food! Both dishes on our specials board today as well as our fishy specials of locally caught beer battered ling and chips and Cornish Megrim Sole with lemon and herb butter.
Pie of the Day is Chicken Scrumpy, Soup of the Day is Roasted Tomato and Pepper and we also have Gammon Steaks with fried egg, chips and peas. Oh and there’s a homemade apple crumble too!
